Winter in Innsbruck is great for the non-skier as this is a great time to
experience Europe without the summer crowds of tourists. The Old City, surrounded by
a moat in the 1300's, is now a pedestrian area that invites you to visit its palaces,
churches and museums. Day excursions abound to: Bavarian Royal Castles, Geneva, Vienna and
more. There are active pastimes as well: guided walks between country villages,
tobogganing, horse drawn sleigh rides, even bobsled rides on the Olympic run!
For the skiers, 5 separate areas are minutes away from your
hotel by free ski bus. There is skiing for everyone here. Double diamond
powder, to never ever beginner runs on a gentle meadow!
